Fun game

It pretty addictive! Would you consiter making and n game/meatboy style version of the game. (keep the little robotman, but make the concept like meatboy/ ngame) That would be sick! Id pay $5 for it

Amazing... But short

This game is very fun and the play style is truely original, but it is quite short. I was hoping to get some good long fun :) but unfortunately it was over in less than 30 min. Maybe not worth EVERY cent, but Im still glad I bought it and will probably get the sequal. Over all, its a sweet game that is definately a recomended buy if uv got a bit of pocket change to trade for some fun.

ToyBot diaries

Its one of my favorite game for story, graphics and sound. I only wished more levels earlier. Thank you Iugo!

The beginning of a great app dynasty

The Toy Bot Diaries is the best app dynasty available from iTunes. Get all three. Theyre the right balance of fun, challenge, and entertainment.

I  this game. I finished it the first day. It was to good to put down

MORE LEVELS

this game should be much longer. but other than that the game is really good. i like the controls. needs more levels!!!!

Way too short

Way too short, and gets a bit repetative. Still, an enjoyable and well made game.

Ack!

The only reaen I gave this two stars rather than one is because it has a good idea behind it, its creative. But otherwise, everything else is crap. The music is bad, and you cant listen to your own, its bpring and all the levels are the same, the objective is dumb, and irs way to short for a game thats four bucks.

I love it!

I love this game. I enjoy this little robots adventures 1-3. But I want to listen to my own music.

amazing

but short. i got to the boss guy on the first day. however idk how to beat him so...... yea

Addicting

I got the game and I could not pit it down I got all 3 games

Worth All 399 Pennies

This is an initial review for those who are still unsure whether they want to drop $3.99 on a game without trying it first. Took me about an hour to get fully acclimated to the game. I played through the opening section of the first stage a few times to get used to the way Toy Bot handles. The Good: Love the graphics. Swinging with the grappling hook is awesome once you get the hang of it. Puzzles make fantastic use of the iPhones unique hardware. Good sound, especially when Toy Bot is in a free-fall. I didnt want to turn off the background music, so thats always welcome. Fun and entertaining. (Isnt that what its all about?) The Bad: Definitely takes some getting used to. Learning to control Toy Bot is awkward at first (albeit somewhat amusing). Ultimately, though, the controls and gameplay should come together for you after enough time. Wish controls were a bit tighter; objects tend to slide around, but maybe thats part of the games strategy. Havent played far enough to find out. Camera annoyed me at times, though very infrequently. Sometimes the angle would be so close in on Toy Bot that Id have to start tapping rapid-fire on the screens edge to get him/her/it back where he/she/it needed to be. The Verdict: Since this is the first iPhone/iTouch game of its kind to be released, Id say its a must-buy. Even when the game is frustrating, its still fun. Seems to be one of those games that gets better as YOU get better at playing it. I dont know if Toy Bot will set the standard for games of this kind on the iPhone, but its definitely a great pickup for $3.99. Minus one star for minor annoyances that exist even after mastering the controls.

Fun

O and for people having trouble with the first boss all you do is stick to the guns handle grapple on the wall to pump it and then hurry and get in the front of it to shoot out at the boss pushing him back, run back and repeat the process till he falls, but DONT follow him u will die(i learned this the hard way) and then when he falls pump the gun again and get in and you will shoot towards the end of this awesome game :) :) :) A+++++

Great Game! Hours and Hours of...oh wait...nope, one hour of fun

Potential for a great game...but its SO short!

Way Cool!!!

My favorite iPhone app!

Fun, unique, but SHORT

Now I know its only volume one of many, but I beat this edition in about 45 minutes. Took another hour and a half to beat it again with all of the memory chips/cell phone thingies. Its fun, easy to learn, solid controls, good flow, and cute. The puzzles arent particularly challenging, but getting all the chips/phones (what ARE those anyway?) can be tricky. As an iPhone developer, I spend a lot of time in the UI, so I may react faster than most, so maybe my times lower than average, but two hours start to finish with no real replay value is a bummer. I dont regret the buy (cheaper than renting a movie for the same couple hours of entertainment, so hey), and Ill buy the next volume, just dont go into it thinking youve got a multi-day/multi-play game. Pros: Different Fun Cute Good bg music Can use your own music Cons: Very short (took me longer to beat crayon physics) Music & SFX are both killed on iPod mode No real replay value Relatively simple Crashes with too many rapid inputs (again, Im a developer; I rebooted after install, and one of MY apps flushes system memory onClick) Worth the buy overall; Id definately pay six bucks for all the volumes together.

The guys (and gals) at IUGO deserve mucho praise!

Ive purchased my fair share of apps now and this one is exceptional. For the price, youll not find a more enjoyable game out there for the iphone. Im playing the second one now.

Excellent game!

For some reason I didnt think the trial did this game justice. I thought it wasnt worth it when I played it, and stayed away from purchasing it, until it went on sale. Now Im glad I did, its very fun, on of the better games on the app store.
